Fall Sports

Football/Competition Cheerleading (Basketball Cheerleading listed under Winter Sports):

Open to upcoming 6th – 8th graders, tryouts will take place in the spring for the following school year.  The team cheers for middle school football during the fall. Summer camps and after-school practices are required and prepare the cheerleaders for the upcoming season. The season wraps up in December. Competition cheerleaders showcase advanced skills, while football cheerleaders focus on jumps, motions, and projection. Participation requires current physicals, medical releases, and academic eligibility.

Cross Country:

Open to upcoming 6th-8th graders, tryouts are held in May for the following school year.  The season runs through October, with summer practices and daily after-school practices. Meets will be held after school or on Saturdays. To join, students need current medical forms and academic eligibility.

Head Cross Country Coach - Allie Wilson

Football:

For 6th-8th grade students, this sport kicks off with tryouts in August, and runs through October. After-school practices are daily, with 6th grade games held on Wednesday, and 7th and 8th grade games held on Thursday.  To participate, students need an updated physical and medical release form and must meet academic eligibility criteria.

Girls Softball:

For rising 6th - 8th grade girls, tryouts are held in May for the following year, and lead to a season spanning August through October.  Softball requires summer practice and daily after-school practices. Games are typically played on Tuesday and Thursday. Participation necessitates up-to-date medical forms and academic eligibility.

Girls Volleyball:

All rising 6th-8th graders can try out in May for a season stretching from August to either late September or early October. The schedule includes summer practices as well as daily after-school practices.  Participation requires updated medical forms and academic eligibility during the school year.
